Submit any logo's you would like to see on our bag tags here. Try to keep them simple. Right now I'm thinking we'll be getting mini's to use as bag tags so keep that in mind. Please try not to comment on them right now. Lets just get some submitted and then we can offer opinions later. Try to get any submissions done by the end of the weekend.

Thanks!

I always wanted to use Mini's as our advertisement. This actually kills 2 birds with one stone. We can probably get them for like 1.50 and sell them for $3-4. Jason and I can probably get this done, unless someone else wants to. But we already have accounts with Innova, discraft and Gateway. Ill buy them with the smdga account and we can actually make a little on top for our club. Is this how we all wanted to do this?

if we are getting mini's we should come up with an official smdga logo then. and it should be sick. not just our name.

I really like this one (the chrome one). For bag tags, the only thing we would have to do is put a number on the bottom.

Nic, as for having mini's to "promote" the smdga, I would say we do that seperately for like you suggested. I don't want to mix those up with bag tag's for a fundraiser. To me the bag tags aren't a fundraiser, they are a friendly competition between smdga members. Now, they could have the same logo if we choose.

Like Timmer said, we can get some from Gateway for a buck or so a piece. That is most likely the most economical atm.

I like the idea of purchasing some mini's and selling them throughout the season as an SMDGA fundraiser and having bag tags too. Why can't it all go into the fund as a way to generate some money? It's a fun thing to do for those who want to do it and it's promoting SMDGA since we're putting the logo on it, so why can't SMDGA get a % back? And for those who aren't interested in the bag tag they can still pick up a marker disc. And we should decide on a logo and have that as the new logo across the board. I think a thread was started a couple months ago about creating a new logo for this site, so if we all decide on a bag tag logo maybe we can switch out the logo here too.

If people are really all the flustered about making the bag tag a fundraiser, then I could agree with maybe taking a buck from the entry and putting it back to the club. However, I'm looking at the Bag Tag as a competition among friends with some prizes at the end of the year and some things in the middle. The entry fee was to cover the cost of the tag itself and then the rest to the payouts, etc.

jared i guess my vote would go for any of the one jeese posted . but im thinkin maybe a deadline for entries on logos then have derek setup a vote for all members like we did with the smdga positions. this way its fair for all. then we could get started on phase two.....

also i think the bag tags need to be seperatefrom the fundraiser.... the competition among friends ...(your going down) also the prizes at the end of the year ...

but at a dollar a piece the fundraise should put a little chunk of change in the kitty
