Mankato Tuesday Doubles League "Glow League"

We are starting up a doubles league on Tuesdays in Mankato if anyone is interested.

Time: 6:00
Day: Every Tuesday starting 3/24/07
Entry: $5 per person, 100% payback $1 ace pool (optional)
Format: Random draw doubles

I had half a mind to play last night, as I had a meeting in St. Peter starting at 3pm. However, my meeting didn't let out until 8:30pm, so that ended those hopes. Oh well! Maybe one of these weeks I'll be able to sneak over there on Tuesday evening and play...; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Ben Keist on October 21, 2009 at 7:59pm: We are moving this league back to 6:00PM this week and will be playing night golf for the rest of the season. Brent has purchased a bunch of glow sticks for our league. We tested the glow sticks last night and they work great. They are really cheap and easy to use. If you play you will need to purchase glow sticks from Brent or bring your own.

Mini lights- 8 for a $1
Big sticks- 2 for a $1

When we tested it last night, 2 of the mini lights on a disc was bright enough to see in flight so you can play for as little as 20 cents a night. We will run this league as long as weather permits (rain or snow will be the only cancellation). It being cold out is no reason not to play. Our ace pool will also keep going during night golf and it is currently at $160. I hope everyone gets a chance to come out and try some night golf.
