Right on, I agree with everything you said there.

18 and 19 are ok holes for "top" level tournament golf. But for 90% of the people playing the tournament you are right, they are bad holes. And yes, they do need a spotter to play without taking a day and a half.

On the redesign of Todd, I would really really look at removing holes 16-21 completely. After 15, play the river out to the road and then back. We've talked a little about that before. Or I could try to combine 16 and 17. 20 is a good hole. 21 needs work IMO to be good.

Anyway, this is getting into a topic we should talk about later.

Still think we should play 7 to 8 :)

Sorry Nik and Jason, but I won't be able to make it. Family stuff came up that I have to be home for. GL with the tourny.

Id like to personally thank everyone for coming over and playing with such cold weather. It didnt rain or snow though! The wind seemed to be like 20-30mph. It was a tough day and some true troopers showed up. We really appreciate it always. Scores will be posted when completed.

Cheers!

It's always fun to see how players handle the cold - hand warmers, beers, chilli, beers, extra layers, beers.....
Congrats to Nik for winning the Pro division....... let's see last week the Advanced, this week the Pro.... next week the Mider. Go for it Nik!

Good job running the Tournament Jason & Nik! Had a good time! Even though it was a little cold! Congrats Nik on the victory!

Thanks everyone for coming out and battling the wind and cold. Not sure how cold it was, lets just say -10 degrees with the Todd Park wind blasting in your face.

Austin native Nik Johnsen crushed it with a 7 stroke victory. 2nd round rated 999, should be over +1000 when its official. Nik played trophy only option turning down $115 cold hard cash. This guy doesn't have much room left in his trophy case after this year.

Austin native Darin Finley dominated with an 8 stroke victory to win his 1st Advanced tournament. Congrats brother !

Traveling 2 hours from New Ulm to Austin was Brent Lenz winning the Intermediate division by 1 stroke. New Ulm sweeping the back to back int J&J Fall tournaments!

Scores posted online

Lost and found report! Someone left a t-shirt at the tournament. Not sure who it is. I think its Darin Finleys. If you see Darin please let him know. Click below to see t-shirt.

Sounds like you guys had fun. I truely wish I could have been there. Friday night I got all ready and got the car packed ready to go. Then about 10pm Friday I found out that I couldn't. I was pissed. Glad to hear you guys had fun :)

Congrats Nik! (what did you get on hole 10?)

Didnt make it to the short tee on my drive. Did 2 more side arms from the left side, then a jump putt and then the putt. Took a 5. Also 4'd hole 3 both rounds. Only bogie my second round.
