I have couple of ideas that I wanted to run by you for the South Zone in 2010, one of which is putting a tournament calendar together for the year. What are your thoughts on having everyone submit their proposed dates and trying to have it all laid out by mid Feb.? I think it would help smaller tournaments grow if they're not scheduled on the same day as a sanctioned one down the road and may also help get some cross-over from East to West and visa-versa. Not that this will solve all problems with scheduling but I think it may help turn-out and encourage some TD's to book open weekends. Let me know your thoughts. You are welcome to use them. If elected, I had planned on making these events MSTs this year to encourage a few more folks to join the MFA. I was also going to host an event in Red Wing and one in St. Charles, but this is up to you. Good luck with your new job.

I want your opinion and ideas for the course at Bancroft Bay.
Here is what I've come up with so far. I will contact the course designer and Albert Lea Park and Rec to see what is possible before they layout cement tees.
